God in His infinite wisdom, called out to our beloved Tarzaine Marnavia Jones, and said come home my child your work on earth is done.
On Sunday, January 12, 2025, she gained her heavenly wings. Marnavia was the beloved daughter of the late Willie and Vera Jones, the 6th child of 14 siblings born on August 9,1951, in Swansea, SC.
She was educated in the public schools of Swansea, SC and graduated from Lakeview High School of West Columbia, SC.
Since a small child, Marnavia has always been involved in the raising of her younger siblings and various family and friends. Because she became quite fond of being an in-home daycare provider, she enjoyed the responsibilities associated with the care and has been attributed to the upbringing of countless children within her family and community. Although she never had any children of her own, her nurturing nature, dedication, early childhood development skill set, and ability to foster a safe haven for the youth, essentially created her legacy as a stern, reliable and loving presence.
She was preceded in death by five brothers: Willie Jones Jr., Allen Jones, Tony Jones, Scotty Jones, Gill Jones; three sisters: Jackie Jones, Audrey Jones, and Inger Jones.
She leaves to cherish her fondest memories with, three sisters: June Jeffcoat, Regina Jones, Tammy Prescott; three sisters-in-love: Francis Jones, Debbie Jones, Mozelle Jones; three brothers: Bernard Jones, Marion Jones, Anthony Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
