Michael Jerome Humphries

Michael Jerome Humphries, also known as MJ, was born on April 25th,1960, and passed away peacefully on May 20th, 2025, at the age of 65. A devoted father, brother, and friend, Michael lived a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear. He was known for his strength of character, generous heart, and the wisdom he offered so freely to those who sought guidance.

Michael is preceded in death by his oldest sister; Joann Straite. 

Michael is survived by his first wife, Sheila Humphries, and his second wife, Sydell Humphries, both of whom remained close parts of his life. He was the proud and loving father to seven children: Satricia Humphries, Ta’yani Clark, Ajahn Bush, Ta’nario Clark, Olivia Humphries, Maaliyah Humphries, and Mykel Humphries. He also leaves behind his beloved sister, Patricia Lockett, and family, and all of his grandchildren with whom he shared a deep and lifelong bond. 

Those who knew Michael will remember him for his resilient spirit and the warmth he brought into every room. His legacy lives on through his children and the many lives he touched with his kindness and wisdom. Though he will be dearly missed, the memory of his love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew and cherished him.
