Mary Griffin Loftis

Mary Griffin Loftis, age 81 of Sandy Run, South Carolina passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025 at her home.

Mrs. Loftis was born on July 30, 1943 in Orangeburg, South Carolina and was a graduate of Elloree High School in Elloree, South Carolina.

Mrs. Loftis was as sweet as she was sassy and loved with all her heart. Her family was her whole heart and she was always there with a welcomed smile and words of love to share. She made an impact on everyone she came in contact with. She also loved all of her puppies dearly that she cared for.

Mrs. Loftis was a member of the United States Air Force. She worked at Carolina Eastman for many years and retired from Pirelli.

Mrs. Loftis was predeceased by her husband, William (Bill) Loftis,  her parents, Red and Lois Griffin, and her granddaughter, Kayla Brooke Salter.

Mrs. Loftis was survived by her children; Tina (Frank) Hutto, Heather (Stacy) Lucius, Reed (Kristina) Loftis, and Romona (Bryan) Patterson. Grandchildren; Trevor Hutto, Shelby Hutto, Kelli (Jody) Jennings, Carli Lucius, and Sofia Patterson. Great-grandchildren; Arianna Grace Jennings, and Aurora Josephine Jennings. Sister; Anne (Bubba) Arant, Jean (Bill) Harris,  and Brother; Bill (Deborah) Griffin.
