Margie Boykin

Minister Margie Boykin was born on September 8, 1958 to the late James and Margie Robinson. Minister Boykin was a native of Brooklyn, NY before relocating to Swansea, SC. She transitioned peacefully on September 19, 2020 at the Lexington Medical Center at the beautiful age of 62.

She was a faithful member and minister of Gethsemane Baptist Church in North, SC. She enjoyed singing, "My Soul Has Been Anchored in the Lord." 

Margie was married to Peter Boykin. She leaves to cherish precious memories: her husband, five daughters, Shereen Snipes, Roxanne (Jeffrey) Jenkins, Arabia Robinson, Shaneta Robinson and Margie "Peaches" (Alex) Robinson, fifteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, as well as other loving family members and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday September 26. 2020 at  2 pm at Gethsemane Baptist Church in North SC.
