A TIME TO BE BORN- Margaret was born on May 31, 1939, to the late Samuel Jackson and Hattie Bell Jackson. The 8th of 13 children. She received her education in the public schools of West Columbia, SC.
A TIME TO LIVE- Margaret belonged to a variety of groups and clubs where she developed long-lasting friendships. She was loved by all who came in contact with her. She was kind and always had a story to tell about life. Despite her long battle with illness, she remained loving, positive, and the one to reach out to others.
A TIME TO LABOR & SERVE- Margaret left SC and moved to Philadelphia, where she worked for the government for 18 years. She left Philadelphia and returned to SC, and settled at the Lexington Medical Center. She retired after 15 years. After retiring, she became a full-time caregiver to her late husband, Eulin Allen.
A TIME TO LOVE- On August 10, 1990, Margaret married Eulin Allen. They remained married until his death in 2009. A previous marriage resulted in the births of her 3 children, Harriet, Wade Douglas and Sarah.
A TIME TO DIE - Margaret (86) was called from labor to reward and left this earthly home on October 7, 2025. She was proceeded in death by her husband Eulin, her parents and 8 siblings.
A TIME TO MOURN- Margaret leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Harriet Guions (PA), Douglas Green (PA) and Sarah Green (SC); three sisters, Anna Julia Jones (SC), Theodora Stanfield (SC) and Ethel Sharpe (PA); 8 grandchildren, Juan Austin Jr, Fantaisa Green (deceased), Wade Douglas Green Jr, Nickema Green, Tameka Wilson, Daron Overby, Damara Green and Autumn Green, 20 great grandchildren, Nailah, Taniah, Justice, Juan III, Karter, Caden, Tyler, Corey Jr, Javon, Tashan, Chase, Shane, Zane,Aanadi, London, Logan (deceased), Lyric, Lace, Leira and Jaquan, and a hosts of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
