Ms. Katherine Pearl Calloway-Wilcher (A.K.A. Tater Cake) was born on January 8, 1960 to the late James Holland and Malinda Holland in Pulaski, Virginia. She was called home on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Prisma Health in Columbia, South Carolina at the age of 62.
Katherine was a faithful believer in her Lord and Savior. She walked with God and committed to knowing him since she was a child.
She served her country proudly in the United States Army. Katherine worked and retired from the United States Post Office.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Cosha Calloway, her grandson Master Samuel Farmer, Her grandmother Pearl Calloway and her grandfather General Lawrence Calloway, her brother Randy E Stigger , her sisters Benetta (AKA Penny) Stigger, Janice Ellen and Vidal Webb.
Katherine will be lovingly remembered by her son, Israel Wilcher of Kansas City, Missouri; her brothers, Lawrence Calloway of Roanoke, Virginia and James Calloway of Atlanta, Georgia; her 5 grandchildren: Shekinah Bennett Charlotte NC, Uriah Chapman of Charleston SC, Exodus West of Columbia SC, Jadon Farmer of Washington DC, Baby Boy; and 1 great grandchild Ari Bennett of Charlotte, NC as well as her nieces and nephews; Raven Childs of Atlanta Georgia, Shaurie Walker of Georgia, Candice and Nicole Hines of Atlanta Georgia; Paul Ketchem of New Hampshire, Joshua Childs of Atlanta, Georgia, John Stigger of Roanoke Virginia, Lawrence Calloway, Jr. of Pulaski, Virginia Cesil Robinson of Roanoke, Virginia, David Robinson of Pulaski, Virginia; John Calloway of Pulaski, Virginia, Latasha Stigger an Lakeya Stigger of Columbus, Georgia, as well as other loving family members and friends.
