Jamilton Godinez Zacarias Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jamilton Fermin Godinez Zacarias, a cherished son, brother, uncle, student, and friend. Born in San Pedro Necta, Huehuetenango, Guatemala, on December 19, 2006, to Soila Zacarias Cardona and Santos Godinez. Jamilton leaves behind a loving family, including his siblings Lusvin, Gerson, Ingrid, and Brayan, his niece Aily Perez Godinez, and several family members in Guatemala. 

As a current junior at Pelion High School, Jamilton was not only known for his quiet demeanor and a smile that could illuminate any room but also for being a hardworking and studious student. His dedication to his studies and his commitment to excellence were evident in all he undertook. His gentle nature and ability to listen made him a beloved figure among his peers and teachers alike.

Though he spoke softly, Jamilton's impact was profound. He touched the lives of many, both in his school community and among his loved ones. His kindness, empathy, and radiant smile left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

In honoring Jamilton's memory, we are reminded to cherish each moment, embrace our loved ones, and spread kindness in our actions, just as he did. His spirit will continue to inspire us, guiding us toward compassion and understanding in our own journeys. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

Con el corazón apesadumbrado, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Jamilton Fermin Godinez Zacarias, un hijo, hermano, tío, estudiante y amigo muy querido. Nacido en San Pedro Necta, Huehuetenango, Guatemala, el 19 de diciembre de 2006, hijo de Soila Zacarias Cardona y Santos Godinez. Jamilton deja tras de sí una familia amorosa, incluyendo a sus hermanos Lusvin, Gerson, Ingrid Lorena y Brayan, su sobrina Aily Perez Godinez y varios familiares en Guatemala.

Como estudiante de tercer año en Pelion High School, Jamilton no solo era conocido por su comportamiento tranquilo y una sonrisa que podía iluminar cualquier habitación, sino también por ser un estudiante trabajador y aplicado. Su dedicación a sus estudios y su compromiso con la excelencia eran evidentes en todo lo que emprendía. Su naturaleza gentil y su capacidad para escuchar lo hacían una figura querida entre sus compañeros y profesores por igual.

Aunque hablaba con suavidad, el impacto de Jamilton fue profundo. Tocó la vida de muchos, tanto en su comunidad escolar como entre sus seres queridos. Su bondad, empatía y sonrisa radiante dejaron una marca indeleble en todos los que lo conocieron.

Al honrar la memoria de Jamilton, se nos recuerda valorar cada momento, abrazar a nuestros seres queridos y difundir la bondad en nuestras acciones, tal como él lo hizo. Su espíritu seguirá inspirándonos, guiándonos hacia la compasión y el entendimiento en nuestros propios viajes. Será profundamente extrañado, pero siempre recordado por su familia, amigos y todos aquellos cuyas vidas tocó.
