~Life Reflections~
Ja’Kim Williams was born on February 18, 2008 in Columbia, SC to the parents of Ms. LaVeda Pearson and Mr. Akim Williams, Sr. He entered into eternal rest on December 19, 2021.
Ja’Kim was a loving and bright young man who enjoyed playing football and hanging with his friends and family. He loved to express himself through his music and made everyone know the true meaning of the expression “Live, Love and Laugh” with the silly jokes he would tell. His big smile would light up any room the moment he walk in. Many called him “Baby,” some knew him as “YSL” (Young Successful Legend), that name speaks for itself. As he was a young successful legend to many at his school and in the community.
Ja’Kim was preceded in death by Terance Myers, Sr. (His Birth Father), maternal grandmother, Vonalesa Brown Earle and Aunt Shaleeka Earle.
Ja’Kim Williams leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, LaVeda Pearson and Demetrius Boone and Bonus Dad Akim Williams; God-Parents; Pernarro and Brione Dubard; five brothers, Akim Williams, Ty’Keem Williams, Demetrius Boone, Jr., Terrance Myers, Jr., Jamari Harris; Three sisters, Deidra Boone, Serenity Williams and Denila Boone; maternal grandfather, Leroy (Katherine) Pearson; paternal grandmother, Carrie Taylor; grandmother, Betty Jean Boston; Grandfather, Haskell Quattlebaum Jr., and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
