Harry Montgomery was a man of God. He did not mind helping others. He loved boxing, that was most of his life. He was a family man and he loved family, he did not judge, he was loved by all.
He served in the Army and retired from Savannah River Plant. Mr. Harry was a boxing trainer for many young men. He was a huge part of the community and church usher board at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Cayce, SC.
Mr. Harry Montgomery, son of the late Mary and Thomas Montgomery, departed this life on December 22, 2024 at the residence, 11 Vandover Circle, Columbia, SC.
Mr. Harry Montgomery leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Roselyn A. Montgomery. Three daughters; Tracy L. Montgomery, Nicole Summers, Angel Harrison. One Son; Jaequan Sutton. Four grandchildren; Jennifer A. Jackson, Jasmine Z. Williams, Sheliyah Simmons, Jayceon Sutton. Seven Great-grandchildren; Brooklynn Rodriquez, Kali Rodriquez, Laiyah Sauders, Ariah Sauders, and Markus Hammonds Jr., Hazel Hammonds, King Hammonds. Four Sisters; Florine Sutton, Carolyn Montgomery, Betty Brown, Doretha Montgomery. One Brother; Thomas Montgomery. Two Aunties; Emma LeeWright, Evelyn Jones. One Uncle; Frankie L. Jones (Katie). And a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
