Emma Rawl Snelgrove

Emma Rawl Snelgrove, 85, of West Columbia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26th.

Emma was born in Red Bank on December 1, 1939, a daughter of Erin Taylor Rawl and Thomas Edward Rawl, Sr.

Remaining to cherish Emma’s  memory are her children Cheryl Rawl (Danny) Austin, Barry Todd (Billie) Lundy, Richard Lee (Nancy) Lundy, William Gary (Kristie) Lundy and Jimi Crosby Brown; 9 Grandchildren, Jennifer Lundy, David Lundy, McKenzie (Taylor) Helms, Madison (Alex) Russell, Harley Rabon, Brad Lundy, Connor Lundy, Emily Lundy and Jeff Lundy; 8 great-grandchildren, Tayeson Bowers, Brynlee Stallings, Teegan Helms, Braxton Kypriotes, Carter Russell, Azlen Eagens, Kashtyn Eagens and Ellisyn Russell; siblings, Phillip Wayne (Gurley)

Preceding Emma in death are spouses Ralph Cleveland Snelgrove, Jimmy Hansford Crosby, and Charles Owens Lundy Jr; son, Charles Owens Lundy III; granddaughter, April Austin Shaw; her parents, Erin and Thomas Rawl; and siblings Thelma Rawl Moseley, Mary Ellen Rawl Barker, Thomas Edward (Sonny) Rawl, Jr., and John Allen Rawl.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 29th, at Dust to Dust Cemetery, 205 Nulty Crossing, Swansea, SC with Reverend David Goforth officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to one’s favorite charity in Emma’s memory.
