Ms. Elaine Williams

Ms. Elaine Williams, affectionately known as “Lady” was the daughter of Mrs. Eleanor Bonnett Williams of Springfield, SC  and the late Mr. Wyman Williams Sr. of Kitchings Mills, SC. Elaine was born on July 23, 1969 in Jamaica, NY. She departed this life on September 5, 2021.

Elaine was educated in the New York School System. She worked at Queens General Hospital on the Pediatric Ward and the EMT unit. Elaine also was a supervisor of a Home Health Care Center. She was a very hard worker and she loved what she did.

Elaine loved her two children and three grandchildren with all of her heart. She also loved to cook. She could really cook almost any food you wanted to eat. One of her favorite foods to eat was ham hocks.  Elaine would fight you over some ham hock.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Wyman Williams, Sr.; along with her brother, Wyman Williams, Jr.

Elaine’s memories will live forever in the hearts of: her loving mother, Eleanor Williams of Burlington, VT; her son, Justin Williams of Burlington, VT; her daughter, Miracle Dunn of Rhode Island; three grandchildren, Genesis Williams, and Ja’Leighssa Williams of Rhode Island, and Maleighya Williams of Burlington, VT; four brothers, Henry (Unice) Williams of Poughkeepsic, NY, Wallace (Lillian Wilson) Williams of Seat Pleasant, MD, Richard (Maxine) Williams of Fayetteville, NC, and Edward Williams of Burlington, VT; two sisters, Betsy (Truman) Stroman of Springfield, SC and Ruth (Johnny) Dupree of Forest Park, GA; two aunts, Atwillie Sease of Elmont, NY, and Ellen Williams of Springfield, SC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pressley’s Funeral Home of West Columbia, SC is in charge of the professional arrangements.

Fulmer’s Funeral Home of Springfield, SC will be assisting.
