Gane Eaddy was born July 2,1940 in Florence County to the late Fred And Hattie Graham Eaddy. He answered God’s call on August 28,2025 and went to his eternal rest with his Heavenly Father.
At an Early age, Gane accepted Christ and joined Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. He joined Mt. Seal Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Superintendent. He later joined New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon until his health declined.
Gane will always be remembered for singing quartet and playing his lead guitar. He was a member of the Silvertones. He later became a member of the quartet group with his wife and children, Annie Lou Eaddy And The Gospel Charms.
Gane was employed with Mr. Marvin Flowers as a mechanic. After leaving Mr. Marvin he was employed with SC Prestress. He left SC Prestress and was employed with The Carter Family (Mr. Thomas,Mitchell And Tony). He was employed with The Carter Family For Over 30 Years.
He was preceded in death three brothers and three sisters ; Cornell Eaddy, Douglas Eaddy, LeVoe Eaddy, Geneva Eaddy-Sherills, Evelyn Burry, and Lena Vern Green.
Gane leaves to cherish his precious memory his loving and devoted wife of 63 years Annie Lou Eaddy of the home. A niece he raised as his own; Mary(Harry) Butler Of Scranton,SC . He leaves behind Three Children; Debra(Stacy) Cockfield of the home, LeGrand “Tommy” (Idella) Eaddy Of Olanta,SC and Rena(Charles) Harrison of Lake City,SC . An Adopted Son Elder I. Daryl (Julia) Pressley . A Special God-Child; Kassandra (Eric) Brown. Two Grandchildren That He Raised And Loved Like His Own; Trey Eaddy And Khadejah Cockfield. Four Grandchildren; LaChandra(Torrell) McClary, Shannon(Brandon) Womack, and Shadreka Waters. Special To Heart; Sentrell “String Bean” Burgess . Seven Great Grandchildren: Ja’Ziah Eaddy, Jelerious Eaddy, La’Quavious Water, Jaleel Womack, Jorrell McClary, Tre’Quan Eaddy, Messiah Burgess, And Jioni Womack. He has one surviving brother and one loving sister; LeDon (Eula Mae) Eaddy Of Baltimore,MD and Loretha McFadden Of Ft. Lauderdale,FL. One Loving Sister-In-Law; Rachel Eaddy of Scranton,SC. Special People;Kristal (Richard) Platt, Xavier Burgess, Christian Burgess, And Kristina Burgess. A Special thanks to Genetiva Hospice Care; Erica, Tabitha, Kerry, Carey, and Latosha Bacote. A very special thanks to Idella Eaddy, LaChandra McClary, Khadejah Cockfield And The New Bethlehem Church Family. A host of aunts,nieces, nephews, and friends.
