Mr. Darrella J. Tyler was born April 23, 1973 to Lelia Tyler and the late Roosevelt Fogle in Columbia, South Carolina.  He was the first born of this union.  He departed this life on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Providence Hospital in     Columbia, South Carolina.

Darrella was educated in the public schools of Columbia (Richland County), South Carolina and graduated from Dreher High School in 1993.  After graduation, he found his passion as a cook and began his journey at the NCO Club at Fort Jackson.  He subsequently moved to Rockaway Athletic Club on Rosewood and he was at home. Darrella’s light was revealed in his cooking as he enjoyed preparing the food for customers and engaging with his co-workers.  Darrella lit up the restaurant with his presence and Rockaway will miss his spirit.

He was preceded in death by his father Roosevelt Fogle.

Mr. Darrella Tyler leaves to cherish his precious memory: two sons Christopher Watson and Darrella Watson; two daughters Tysheba Watson and Kennedy D. Cofield; one granddaughter Latiana Watson; his mother Lelia Tyler, sister Latasha Tyler, brother Travis J. Alston, three aunts, Betty Tinker, Doris Tyler and Lila (Perry)Edmond, two uncles Rubin (Rose) Tyler and Leroy (DeeDee) Tyler; his best friend Bennie (Tank) Simuel and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives, all of whom will miss him dearly.
