Cora T Washington

Mrs. Cora T. Washington was born on August 30, 1941 in Eastover, South Carolina. She was the youngest daughter of the late James “Jimmy” Thomas and the Sarah Pope Thomas. Cora slept away peacefully to be with Lord on July 14, 2019 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband Samuel “Sam” Washington. Her parents, her uncle Bennie Thomas, her three brothers Ernest Thomas, Henry Thomas, Joe Cleveland, three sister’s Rosa Lee Johnson, Maggie Jacobs, Elizabeth Wider, and her son Bernie Thomas, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Cora T. Washington, leaves to cherish precious memories, her son Michael S. Washington of West Columbia, South Carolina and three grandchildren Travis (Kristie) Pressley, of Hopkins, South Carolina,  Mi’Shonae Washington, and Markies Washington of West Columbia, South Carolina; two great granddaughters of Hopkins, South Carolina; two god grandchildren, Deoshanae Wright and Zonnie Valentine; a brother James Thomas of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two sisters -in –law: Gladys Thomas of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Easter Page of Eastover, South Carolina, a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives, and friends.
