A Time To Be Born: Mr. Ardean “Peanut” Anderson was born on February 4, 1952 in Orangeburg County, SC. He was a son of the late James, Sr. and Y.Z. Anderson of North, South Carolina.
A time to Live: He attended Norfield Twelve Year High in Norway, SC. At an early age, he joined the St. Dorcas Baptist Church of North, South Carolina. Ardean held numerous jobs as a bus driver and truck driver and was also employed at Wagener Manufacturing, Guignard Brick Works, and Graniteville Company. He retired from CMC Metal Steel with over twenty-five years of service.
A time to Love: “Dean,” “Deanie Boy,” “Peanut,” and
“Dean-Dean,” as family and friends affectionately called him, was devoted to his family. Dean was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle. To know him was to love him. He was married to Thelma Anderson for forty-nine years and this union was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Tara and Arlana.
Transition from Labor to reward: On Thursday, January 28, 2021, Mr. Ardean Anderson peacefully transitioned from labor to reward at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by: one sister, Shirley Delois James; and three brothers, Jimmy Anderson, Samuel L. Anderson and Bernard Anderson, Sr.
A time to mourn: Left to cherish fond memories are: his loving and devoted wife, Thelma Anderson of the home; his two daughters, Tara (Andre) Holmon, of West Columbia, SC and Arlana Anderson, of Irmo, SC; two brothers, James Anderson, Jr. of North, SC and John Anderson, of Columbia, SC; four sisters, Mozelle Isaac and Dorothy (Derrel) Bacon, both of Neeses, SC, Elouise (Benjamin) Adams of Batesburg-Leesville, SC, and Nadine Baxter of Salley, SC; nine sisters-in-law; seven brothers-in-law; one uncle, Luther Baxter, Jr. of North, SC; one aunt, Elouie Patterson, Philadelphia, PA.
One Goddaughter, Dr. Brittany (Christian) Hudson of Apex, NC; three Godsons, DeMarkis Mincy of Chesapeake, VA, Dayshon Mincy of Salt Lake City, UT, and Desmond O. Bell, of Aiken, SC; two Great Godsons, Christian Grant Hudson and Noah Gavin Hudson of Apex, NC; one Little Great Goddaughter, Raelynn E. Bell of Aiken, SC; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other dear relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
