Angeline was born on May 27, 1932 in West Columbia, SC , the beloved daughter of the late David A. Jenkins and the late Claretta Hingleton Jenkins. She transitioned into her glorified body on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Lexington Medical Center.
Angeline was educated in Lexington County Schools. In her earlier years, she was an active member of Platt Springs Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. Later in life, she accepted the Lord as her savior in January 2012. She loved dressing up and anything related to fashion. Although she was a soft-spoken woman, often quiet and to herself, she exuded strength and had an ability to find contentment in the little things that life had to offer.
Angeline was preceded in death by her father, David A. Jenkins, and her mother, Claretta H. Jenkins. Her siblings Annie Lou King (Sam), James (Boy) Jenkins (Nola), Arthur (Boot) Jenkins, and her
oldest daughter, Dovey Reeves.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Queen Olden (Chris), Ruth Ashford (James), Charlene Riley, and her only son Archie Riley Jr (Alex), her siblings Maggie J. Gleaton, Larry
Jenkins Sr. (Peggy) and Fred Jenkins (Delores), and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
